Aisling Irish Community Center’s Team set to launch next week to kick off training for the October 21 Yonkers Marathon.
Friday, June 22nd is the Summer Launch for the Aisling Irish Community Center’s Team at J.P. Clarke’s Saloon. The launch will bring together the team to receive their training shirts, gear needed as the train for this year’s Yonkers Marathon.
The whole community is involved and supporting the Team. Sean James; Team Member, Aisling Center Board Member and James Trading Group supports the center because “As an outreach center it has an amazing reputation, supporting not just the Irish, but the wider community in so many under-recognized ways...Employment and mental health support and caring for senior citizens are areas in which they make a huge difference for many individuals...that a center relying almost entirely on donations is powered by such a small number of people working tirelessly - and enthusiastically! - is hard to believe.”
The Aisling Irish Community Center is pleased to announce our Premier Sponsors of Team Aisling; Donnelly's Irish Meats, Liffey Van Lines, James Trading Group and All Boro Flooring. Their support of our team and the team's efforts are amazing.
