iFest, a first of its kind original festival of contemporary Ireland, will debut in Boston this September. This unprecedented experience is a three day festival where tens of thousands of attendees will revel in a celebration delighting the senses where they can see, hear, taste and experience Ireland. The collaboration of Irish culture, art and enterprise is showcased through the interactive iFest pillars of food & drink, live entertainment, culture & creativity, Irish roots, sporting heritage and tourism & hospitality.

Mayor Marty Walsh is endorsing iFest and the Boston launch is predicted to attract more than 40,000 visitors of all ages who will experience an insider’s all-access view into the lives and work of some of the most prestigious and honoured Irish personalities while celebrating the rich history of the country.

The programming at iFest has been meticulously produced and showcases a robust and engaging line up of talented entertainment providing excitement for all ages.
Gourmands can savour the very best of Irish cuisine from Ireland’s top chefs Darina Allen and Kevin Dundon as well as James Beard Award Winner and Relais & Châteaux Grand Chef Barbara Lynch. Interactive master classes and tasting sessions with smooth Irish whiskey and exceptional craft beer will also be on premise. Music aficionados can relish in the best of Irish music with performances from Ireland’s top rock band talents and Grammy award winning legend, Paddy Moloney of The Chieftains.
Visitors with a burning desire to explore their Irish roots can indulge in master classes from genealogy expert and author John Grenham of Who Do You Think You Are on the TLC network.
A scintillating documentary called Ireland Through the TV Lens will also be featured from RTÉ, Ireland’s National Television and Radio Broadcaster. Athletes and sporting aficionados will take great pleasure in a meet and greet with sports stars of the GAA, hitting a sliotar at the hurling simulator and watching iconic matches.
