To qualify for a spot in the Irish Baseball Regional Youth All-Star Games, a player must submit an online registration and attend an in-person tryout.
“The tryouts and the All-Star Games are open to all players, regardless of their family’s ancestry,” explained the program’s National Director, Dan Kennedy.
“This is a youth baseball event, first and foremost, with great coaches, great ballparks, instruction and development, and special guest appearances.
"We expect heavy interest and participation from Irish American families, but we will not turn away anyone based on their heritage.”
Interested players and their families can register online here.
The Irish American Baseball Society, a non-profit subsidiary of Emerald Diamond International, celebrates the Irish impact on the game of baseball and supports youth baseball programs in Ireland and America. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in baseball and Ireland, regardless of their ancestral heritage.
