Looking for the perfect Irish gift? Paddy Pals - Irish teddy bears from the Mountains of Mourne - are friends for life.
Meet the Paddy Pals, the last of the wild Irish Teddy Bears who live deep in the Mountains of Mourne.
These Irish bears want to be your pal, your best friend and your companion. They love hugs and smiles fun and laughter. And no matter where they go, they bring the luck of the Irish with them.
Some of the Pals love to dance, sing and play music while others tend their farm or fish the rivers for a tasty snack or just lie in the shade reciting poetry and telling each other stories.
The Paddy Pal Story
Thousands of years ago all of Ireland was covered in deep forest where the bears roamed freely. But as the human population grew, they chopped down the forests tree by tree until eventually all the forests were nearly gone. The remainder of the wild Teddy Bears headed for the last wild place in Ireland, the Mountains of Mourne deep in County Down where they made their home.
Meet the Bears
The bears all look after each other and their community and they don’t need anyone other than themselves. Páraic the Farmer produces all the food and of course the tasty honey that the bears love while Finn is out at sea catching fish. Roisin the Irish Colleen strolls through the village looking pretty while Lizzie the Irish Dancer jigs and reels all day long. Logan plays the bagpipes and keeps all the bears entertained while James recites poetry and Molly weaves baskets and furniture for all the bears.
But there is one thing that each of the Paddy Pals would really love and that is for you to pick them up and take them home to become part of your family where they will look over you and yours forever and a day. Each petal from the shamrock on their paw brings a wish your way, good health, good luck, and happiness for today and every day.
