It emerged earlier in the month that McGregor would have to pay Nikita Hand’s legal costs after he was found liable for assaulting her in a Dublin hotel room in 2018.
He must also pay nearly €250,000 in damages to Ms Hand. McGregor’s co-accused, James Lawrence, was found not liable for raping Ms Hand in the civil action ruling.
In the aftermath of being found liable for assaulting Ms Hand in the High Court last month, McGregor has gone on several rants on social media, including when he claimed in a series of deleted tweets that the case was held in "a kangaroo court" and called Ms Hand a "liar".
Returning to X on Sunday night, the UFC fighter shared a photo of himself smiling in front of a mirror, in what appears to be a changing room, wearing a grey vest and a pair of green and gold shorts.
McGregor captioned the post: "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."
Less than an hour after his post, McGregor reposted a video of him training, explaining to fans his Jiu-Jitsu style of fighting.
In the lengthy post, McGregor said that his record of 19 knock-outs in professional MMA is down to his "positioning, accuracy and ferocity" of his follow-up work in the octagon.
Teasing a potential return to the UFC, McGregor added: "Training is going great out here guys, hoping for some good news to break, God willing! Thank you for the support."
The final of McGregor’s series of posts saw him commenting on the religious aspects of the upcoming festive season.
"10 days to the born day of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Rejoice," he wrote with the praying hands emoji.
