On the back of record international exports, this St. Patrick’s Day, Enterprise Ireland is marking the international impact of Irish companies with a series of over 60 international events across 52 cities this week.
Enterprise Ireland client companies achieved record exports of €34.57bn in 2023.
Supporting Irish companies’ growth and expansion overseas, Enterprise Ireland announced today, Friday, March 14, the opening of three new overseas offices in the US, UK, and Europe, the three largest export markets for Enterprise Ireland client companies.
The new offices, located in Atlanta, Scotland, and Switzerland will provide critical resources for Irish companies looking to expand into high-growth industries including the fintech industry (Atlanta), Offshore Wind industry (Scotland) and medtech and pharma industries (Switzerland).
The three new offices increase Enterprise Ireland’s global footprint to 42 international offices, across 26 countries and is a key initiative of Enterprise Ireland’s new five-year strategy, which sets a target of achieving €50bn client exports by 2029, an increase of over €15bn exports since the end of 2023.
30 of Enterprise Ireland's international business events will take place this week in the US, with Taoiseach Micheál Martin leading Enterprise Ireland’s business event series in the USA, as part of Ireland’s diplomatic mission to the US.
Kevin Sherry, Interim CEO of Enterprise Ireland, said: “Across the world, Irish companies are entering new markets, securing new international customers and scaling internationally at an accelerated pace.
"They make a hugely important contribution to the Irish economy and their growth internationally not only boosts Ireland’s economy but brings investment and job creation to overseas markets.
"Our global team across our 42 international offices support this important agenda – and St. Patrick’s Day provides an immensely important platform to celebrate the positive impact of Irish companies in Ireland and internationally.”

The Netherlands
Dublin-based Gladcloud has secured a global deal with Heineken to roll out its social media marketing platform worldwide, following a successful pilot in the Netherlands, enhancing local campaign amplification and customer engagement.
Germany
Limerick-based H&MV Engineering will open a new office in Frankfurt this month, expanding its presence in Germany to support renewable energy transitions in data sector construction and grid interfaces.
Australia
Dublin-based Transit9, who digitise operations, safety and employee management for transport organisations, has partnered with Transdev Sydney Light Rail to support the successful launch and operation of the Parramatta Light Rail for the growing Western Sydney region.
DP Energy, the Irish company that develops large renewable energy generation projects in Australia and across the world, has been granted EPBC approval from the Australian Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water for Callide Wind Farm in Queensland, Australia which will power up to 130,000 households.
Irish software companies Kubicle, Catalyst and 42Crunch are also announcing the expansion of their global presence with new offices in Australia to meet growing demand for data, software technology, and AI upskilling.
India
Galway-based medtech company Aerogen, a leader in aerosol drug delivery, will open a new office in Delhi. Aerogen technology has been used to treat over 25 million patients in emergency departments, adult and paediatric ICUs, general wards and ambulance services in 75 countries worldwide.
Canada
Osborne Recruitment, one of Ireland's largest Irish-owned recruitment consultancies, will open a new office in Ottawa, expanding from its first Canadian office in Toronto established in 2018 to better serve clients.
