IrelandWeek returns to Los Angeles this year, running from May 5 - 13 after a "slight hiatus" last year due to the writers' strikes at the time.

A variety of entertaining events will take place at venues throughout Los Angeles during IrelandWeek 2024, which counts Anjelica Huston, Colin Farrell, Chris O'Dowd, Fionnula Flanagan, Hozier, and Roma Downey as patrons.

“It is our greatest honor to announce IrelandWeek’s return in 2024," IrelandWeek founders Buzz O’Neill-Maxwell and Deirdre O’Neill Machin said on Tuesday.

"It's a joy to once again our amazing leaders, supporters and those just starting out in the worlds of film, music, tech, and the arts.

"IrelandWeek aims to showcase this and much, much more in Los Angeles from May 5th to 13th.

"We look forward to welcoming old friends and new, to a wide range of events and gatherings across the great city of Los Angeles, as we continue to foster the ever-strengthening links between California and Ireland."

We've got some real treats lined up for #Irelandweek 2024, with events for gig goers, comedy fans, film industry professionals, family sports events and even bingo fans (trust us on this one!) ?

Celebrating the cultural, trade, and economic ties between Ireland and Los Angeles, IrelandWeek aims to showcase a breadth of exciting events throughout this year's lineup. The celebration will highlight where Ireland excels in the field of entertainment, arts, culture, tourism, tech, and business.

The festivities include Eimear Noone's "Ireland – Where Legend Lives," dramatic songs and stories from contemporary Ireland.

IrelandWeek 2024 will also see the return of its entertainment business-to-business anchor event IrelandConnects. The showcase allows Irish and US leaders from entertainment, tech, business, arts, and culture to connect and form productive relationships.

Also on the lineup this year is Digital Irish's Irish Tech Mixer, while Celtic Woman makes its return with a concert at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.

IrelandWeek 2024 also promises fun nights out, including Bingo Loco and a comedy showcase featuring rising Irish star Katie Boyle.

The Family Sports Day will also be making its return, while "SHARD," a new Irish play under the expert direction of Alan Smyth, will be staged twice at Molly Malone's Irish Pub.

IrelandWeek is sponsored by Irish Central, Aer Lingus, PhRMA, California Legislative Irish Caucus, and many other partner organizations.
