What would St. Patrick’s Day be without an array of celebrities donning the green and getting their Irish up for the day?

Barack Obama showed that he hasn’t forgotten where his great x 3 gramps Falmouth Kearney came from.  44 tweeted on Sunday morning, “In 2011, I visited the tiny town of Moneygall and got to walk around in the house where my great-great-great grandfather Falmouth Kearney lived his early life. I'll always be grateful for the warmth and generosity of the Irish people. Happy St. Patrick's Day! -Barack O’Bama.”  The post, with a photo of O hugging the locals, was liked more than 250,000 times.

Not to be outdone, President Trump sent out a “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” message and shared a video of himself and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at last week’s White House shamrock ceremony. First Lady Melania also used her @FLOTUS handle to share some pics of Varadkar’s visit with his partner Dr. Matt Barrett.

Prince William and Duchess Kate didn’t personally tweet, but they made their annual visit to the Irish Guards in west London as Wills is the colonel of the unit.  Kate was dressed like a million bucks – almost literally – as she was garbed in a dark green bespoke coat by Alexander McQueen, and a Cartier shamrock brooch.  They also downed the obligatory sip or two of Guinness and petted the Domhnall the Irish wolfhound mascot.

Courteney Cox’s relationship with Irish musician Johnny McDaid is going strong for several years, so it’s not surprising that she used her Instagram to show off a plate of shamrock cookies with the greeting, “I love the Irish!”

New dad Andy Cohen’s St. Pat’s day didn’t get off to the brightest start with a crying newborn, but the Bravo host and Real Housewives guru made the best of it, and tweeted a pic of himself and baby Benjamin in matching Snoopy St. Patrick’s onesies captioned with a “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!”

Megyn Kelly’s got plenty of time to celebrate her Irishness as she’s unemployed, at least for now, and that’s exactly what she did. Her husband tweeted a pic of her on a ski slope wearing some green beads, and it didn’t take long for her to respond. “All 5 of us have our green on today, just as my 100% Irish dad Edward F. Kelly always did (w/corn beef & cabbage every year). Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and all of our Irish friends today,” she wrote.

Will Smith, clad in green from head to toe, cut a short St. Patrick’s Day rap video last year, and yep, he went there…lamenting that he got hammered on Grey Goose.  He reposted the song on Sunday with the caption “I just saw my post from last year... smh... My Bad,” not stating what exactly he feels bad for.  Can’t be the song, because it’s kinda catchy!
