Nice scoop for the Irish entertainment website goss.ie, which exclusively revealed that Taylor Swift spent two weeks in Ireland, including Christmas Day, at a luxury castle with her British beau Joe Alwyn.
The couple bunked down at Glin Castle, which has been in the FitzGerald family for 700 years.
The current caretaker is Catherine FitzGerald, who’s married to the actor Dominic West from The Wire and The Affair.
Anyway, Taylor apparently fell in love with the secluded area last summer during a break in her world tour. Her people booked the place for two weeks in December, and staffers had to sign non-disclosure agreements.
“Taylor and Joe kept a low profile, but seemed to really enjoy themselves as they explored the Irish countryside,” a source told Goss.
“She was also spotted at the local pub O’Shaughnessy’s, but it’s pretty old-fashioned so not many people there knew who she was.”

Taylor’s social media feeds didn’t give any Irish hints, but Alwyn’s sure did. He posted a photo on his Instagram taking a solo walk in a place that looks just like a famous walking trail around Glin.
“Taylor and Joe kept a low profile, but seemed to really enjoy themselves as they explored the Irish countryside,” the source added. Naturally, Glin Castle reps are staying mum about the famous guests in their midst.
