A new book tells the full untold story of Jason Corbett, and his high profile murder at the hands of his second wife Molly Martens.
“My Brother Jason: The Untold Story of Jason Corbett’s Life and Brutal Death” penned by the late man’s sister Tracey Corbett lynch with help from journalist Ralph Riegel delves into the heartbreaking murder of the Limerick dad-of-two.
The Janesboro native was savagely beaten to death with a brick and a baseball bat in the bedroom of his luxury home in North Carolina in August 2015.
Corbett’s second wife Molly Martens and her retired FBI agent father Thomas are currently serving life sentences for the killing.
Businessman Corbett (39) was locked in a desperate custody battle to bring his children back to Limerick before he was killed in the couple’s home in Martens, Wallburg, North Carolina.
At the time, former model Martens and her father claimed to have acted in self-defence although they were uninjured. A leading blood splatter expert flown in from Florida was eventually instrumental in their conviction for second degree murder.
