A man arrested in Belfast has been charged in relation to the fatal assault in Dublin City that occurred on Saturday morning, February 15.
The 23-year-old was arrested by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) in Belfast on Sunday, the day after the assault.
The man, whose name has not been released, was reportedly apprehended before boarding a ferry leaving Belfast.
The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday, February 21, both the PSNI and An Garda Síochána announced on Thursday evening.
He is the third man charged in relation to the fatal assault in the South Anne Street/Duke Lane Upper area of Dublin in the early hours of Saturday.
On Saturday, An Garda Síochána said that shortly after 3 am that morning, Gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident where a man, since named locally as 34-year-old Quaham Babatunde, was found with serious injuries and unresponsive.
Babatunde was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel and transferred to hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
A second male in his 30s, since named as Adetola Adetuilehim, was injured in the vicinity. He was hospitalized afterward.
A murder investigation was launched and a Senior Investigating Officer was appointed.
In an update on Monday, Gardaí said that they arrested a man, aged in his 20s, as part of the investigation into the fatal assault following searches in Dublin that morning.
A second man was arrested in Belfast by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) on Sunday.
The third arrest, also made in Dublin, was announced on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, 21-year-old Jeffrey Bangu of Cardy Rock Crescent, Balbriggan, Co Dublin appeared in Dublin District Court.
He has been charged with assault causing harm to Babatunde at Duke Lane.
He has also been charged with assault causing harm to Adetuilehim at Anne Street South.
Bangu is additionally charged with engaging in violent disorder with persons unknown, and production of a knife during the course of a fight at Anne Street South.
Bangu has been remanded into custody and is set to appear via video link at Cloverhill District Court on February 25.
On Wednesday, 21-year-old Rory Carr of Ard na Greine, Seapoint Lane, Balbriggan, Co Dublin, appeared at Dublin District Court.
Carr has been charged with assault causing harm to Babatunde on South Anne Street, as well as assault causing harm to Adetuilehim at South Anne Street.
Carr was remanded into custody and is set to appear at Cloverhill District Court on February 26 for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
