Democrats Abroad Ireland will run its in-person voting center in Dublin on March 5, 'Super Tuesday,' to help Americans abroad cast votes in the Global Presidential Primary.
The in-person voting center will be held from 5-7 pm on Tuesday at Sinatra's Bar at the Arlington Hotel in Dublin, Democrats Abroad Ireland's traditional site for over a decade.
To participate in Democrats Abroad's 2024 Global Presidential Primary, voters must be residing abroad and be a US Citizen, must be a member of Democrats Abroad, be 18 as of November 5, 2024, and not have voted, nor plan to vote, in any other state’s 2024 presidential primary.
American citizens in Ireland can either cast their ballot in person at the Dublin voting center or vote remotely by email, postal mail, or fax.
Two candidates have successfully filed to appear on the Democrats Abroad presidential primary ballot - President Joe Biden and Marianne Williamson.

Patti Shields, Chair of Democrats Abroad Ireland, urged Americans in Ireland to register to vote ahead of the primaries.
"We have seen the impact of votes from Overseas Voters affect the outcome of many close elections – so we should never doubt the power and significance of a single vote," Shields said in a statement.
"Every vote in 2024 will be particularly important at all levels including the House of Representatives, the Senate, and of course the Presidency -- and there is no reason to pass by the opportunity to participate.
"It is relatively easy to register and participate in our federal elections, even from abroad."
Shields is urging voters to register for the primary and the general elections at VoteFromAbroad.org where the online tool walks voters through every step, including registration and ballot requests.
Martha McDevitt-Pugh, Chair of Democrats Abroad International, said the upcoming presidential election will be critical for the US and said American citizens abroad had an opportunity to play their part in democracy.
"While we may vote from many locations around the world, we are deeply involved in this year’s election," McDevitt-Pugh said.
"We know how critical this election is for America and we will show our stand for Democracy."
