In videos circulating online, the Prince of Wales was seen smiling and waving to students as he left the campus but the reply was far from being a warm welcome.
William was subjected to jeers and boos as he walked to his car after the event.
The protesting students also appeared to demand that the future king do more to support Palestine in the conflict with Israel.
Screams of "Free Palestine" can be heard in the background.
The emotionally charged encounter comes after William called for an end to the violence in the conflict.

In February, in a very unusual royal comment on the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, William called for peace.
He wrote that the "terrible human cost" of the conflict has seen "too many killed".
"I, like so many others, want to see an end to the fighting as soon as possible."
He also underpinned the urgent need for humanitarian aid amid the conflict.
While William had a less that cordial exit from his visit , he was welcomed by cheering fans during the visit.
During his time at the university, William met with students to learn about visual production and visited their high-tech studio.
