The "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer passed away last July at her home in London, leaving her fans around the world stunned by her loss.

Her passing was a result of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma, her death cert confirmed. She had also been suffering from a respiratory tract infection at the time.

Following her tragic death, the singer left a little over two million euros to her remaining three children in her will.

She also left them one last wish, which was to "milk her music for what it’s worth."

Sinéad had four children. Jake, 36 was with her first husband John Reynolds followed by Róisín, 27 with her second, journalist John Waters. She is also mother to 16-year-old Yeshua whom she had with Frank Bonadio.

Sadly, Sinéad and Donal Lunny shared a son Shane, who died in 2022 from suicide. He was just 17 at the time of his passing.

According to the Sun after debts, funeral costs, and legal fees were all paid, her four children would split the two million Euro between them.

The singer wrote in her will that "I direct that after my death, and at the discretion of any of my children who are then over 18, my albums are to be released" so as to "milk it for what it’s worth."

She further stated, "My children can dispense of my ashes as they see fit."
