A Grand jury, at Virginia Beach, have brought new charges against Devinche Javon Albritton (30) that date from September 1999.
Albritton is already behind bars, serving an 18-year sentence for the rape and abduction of a 20-year-old Irish student who was visiting the Oceanfront area, in West Virginia.
A jury convicted him in this case in 2005 when DNA tied him to the Irish girl’s case.
The investigators were able to tie his DNA to the cold case dating back to September 1999. This week he was charged with rape, forcible sodomy and abduction with intent to defile in an attack on a woman who was walking to work in the Aragona area 11 years ago.
