Best friends Katherine and Catherine are both aged 11 and have been dancing for years.
Students of the Keenan School of Irish Dance, they are keen dancers and don't want to stop now!
Catherine with a C started dancing when she was 7. "I saw dancing outside an Irish pub, and I liked it," she said. Catherine describes her mom as being "a little bit Irish," and her dad is third-generation so she was probably bound to pick up Irish dancing at some stage.
Katherine with a K started when she was about 8. "My friend's older sister did Irish Dancing and it looked fun," she says. Katherine's great-grandmother came from Ireland, and Katherine is proud to continue her heritage. "I love the dresses, and I love that it's a getaway for me. All my family have their own stuff to do, and this is my thing," she proudly tells IrishCentral.
Catherine with a C says that dancing isn't like other sports or activity. "You don't get bored. You keep moving up to the next level, and you have goals, unlike other things which can be boring". The goal for the C/Katherines? "To dance at the Worlds!" they reply in unison.
Before they head off, the girls share a secret about their glamorous costumes. "We can't sit down in our dresses!"
Katherine with a K says: "It would ruin the dress. We have to stand most of the day. You can actually buy painters' buckets with a cushion on the top, which is perfect for sitting on and not ruining your dress."
Well, we learn something new every day!
