A Dublin woman says she has ‘fallen in love’ with Graham Dwyer, the father of three recently convicted of the murder of Elaine O’Hara, and claims he is her ‘soul mate.’
Victoria Andreenkova, originally from Russia, said Dwyer ‘touched her heart’ and described him as a ‘tender and soft’ person.
She began visiting Dwyer in prison after he sent her a letter, thanking her for attending his trial.
Andreenkova, who arrived in court dressed head-to-toe in black leather clothing, was asked to leave the court because the judge was unhappy with gestures she was making toward the accused, although it is not clear what gestures she was making.
She is now one of six people allowed to visit Dwyer at the Midlands Prison, Portlaoise. Andreenkova has declared she is 'in a relationship' with Dwyer, and recently changed her Facebook status from 'single' to 'in a relationship.’
She said she travels from Dublin once a week to spend half an hour with him.
Last March Dwyer, from Kerrymount Close, Foxrock in Dublin, was found guilty of murdering 36-year-old Elaine O'Hara, on August 22, 2012 at a remote spot in the Dublin Mountains.
O’Hara’s remains were found in September 2013 by a woman walking her dogs on Killakee Mountain, Rathfarnham.
The 42-year-old Dwyer was found guilty of stabbing O’Hara to death for his own sexual gratification and received a mandatory life sentence. He has initiated an appeal against his conviction.
