St. Patrick’s Day is nearly here – the one day a year when the whole world gets to celebrate Ireland and the Irish.
Since they say everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, we started wondering: what exactly is it that’s so great about being Irish?
Is it having one of the world’s sexiest accents and most powerful passports? Is it Ireland’s rich history and sense of tradition? Is it the strength of the Irish diaspora? The importance of family and community? Ireland's amazing cultural contributions to the world? Or is it more so the little things like being able to have the craic with an Irish dance session at 35,000 feet?
Whether you were born and raised in Ireland, have adopted the country as your home, or are passionate about your Irish ancestry, we want to know what you think are the best things about being Irish.
Tell us your thoughts on the best things about being Irish in the survey box below and we’ll gather them together for Paddy’s Day. Don’t forget to include your name, age and where you’re writing from so we can give you a proper shout out!
