Crystal Swing going to the races, set to sing at Irish Derby

Internet sensation Crystal Swing will play a high profile gig when they perform at the Irish Derby horse race at the Curragh in County Kildare this summers. The Cork group became an Internet sensation after Ellen DeGeneres highlighted them on her twitter account and the family group's profile was skyrocketed since then. DeGeneres has been trying to get the mother-daughter-son combo on her show and negotiations are continuing on that score. "After the racing has finished on Derby Day, Crystal Swing are going to be performing. We've gone music mad at the Curragh this summer," a spokesman for the Curragh Racecourse told the Evening Herald. "It should be a good end to a great day of racing.
