Emma Watson, who plays know it all, Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" franchise has slammed "The Twilight Saga" claiming that they aim to sell sex.
Speaking about the "Harry Potter" movies she said "It's not 'Twilight,' you know...We're not selling sex. Whenever there is any hint of that, everybody gets terribly excited."
Watson was responding to a question about the long awaited kiss between Rupert Grint's character, Ron Weasly and her character. However she pointed out that the tension and suspense around this one kiss had been building over the eight movies.
Her comments have started a massive discussion online about whether Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart rose to fame based on the "Twilight" steamy scenes along.
Last month, "Spider man 2" actor, James Franco spoke about the sexual tension in "The Twilight Saga". He said it "is crazy how much sexual tension there is...It just builds and builds. I mean it never stops. It's sort of explosive by the end. Crazy. Like they'll blow up with it."
The first part of "Deathly Hollows" will be in theatres beginning on November 19.
The finale films of "Twilight Saga" will be shown on November 2011, and 2012.
