In an interview with Details (the ostensibly straight men's magazine that actually wildly popular with gay's) Robert Pattinson discusses his borderline unhealthy relationship with his dog and his aversion to naked women, but is he, some people wonder, possibly alluding to his sexuality?

“I really hate vaginas. I’m allergic to vaginas,” Pattinson, the star of Twilight says as he poses with a nude model in a bathtub for the magazine. It's an eye-opening quote but his playfulness is being seen as serious in some quarters. Could this be a wink to his gay fans?

Talking about the fashion shoot where he hung out with multiple nude female models he sounded bored out of his mind: “But I can’t say I had no idea, because it was a 12-hour shoot, so you kind of get the picture that these women are going to stay naked after, like, five or six hours. Thank God I was hungover.”

Just like Boy George once famously preferred a cup of tea to sex, it seems that Pattinson prefers the company of his dog to any romantic partner. “The only emotional connection of relevance is with my dog. My relationship with my dog, it’s ridiculous.”

He sure knows how to keep us all guessing. I suspect that's part of his plan.
