Ellen DeGeneres’ wife, formally known as Portia de Rossi, has caused a major controversy by allegedly refusing to be interviewed by men.
The Australian actress has reportedly refused to be interviewed by radio duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee, from the Australian Radio Network, and “Sunrise” host David Koch, on Australia’s number one breakfast show.
Speaking to the Herald Sun, Kock said “If a male said, 'I don't want to be interviewed by a woman,' there would be a massive outcry of discrimination. Obviously she has got issues and I feel quite sorry for her.
"I admire what she and Ellen have done for community tolerance and inclusiveness. But it is a real contradiction for what she stands for, which really surprises me. Maybe she is uncomfortable with men, but she plays opposite male leads."
The female host FiFi was brought in to replace Blake and Lee for their interview and Koch’s co-host Melissa Doyle had to carry out the interview on “Sunrise."
