Before Siobhan Magnus stole the hearts of million of “American Idol” fans with her memorable performances, she rocked out, literally, when she was lead singer with Lunar Valve.

Not only can she hit that crazy high note in the Aretha Franklin classic “Think,” she can also ground and pound with the best of the punk heads as this video shows.

What this video also shows is her obvious talent. It would seem that Magnus can tackle any song no matter what the genre.

She may well have to, because she has set the bar so high for herself that each week will be a test of how she can keep her nerve and excel as the heat of “American Idol" competition really takes off at the business end of the competition.
