While President Trump blames the Democrats for the DACA progams demise it was he who announced its end holding it hostage to get agreement on his terms.
President Trump has been hammering the Democratic Party leadership and blaming them for the imminent demise of DACA, the program that allows immigrants brought here as children to stay legally.
According to Trump’s trumped up version of events, several times he has offered a deal to keep DACA in return for concessions on admitting fewer legal immigrants and building a wall on the Mexican border.
What Trump neglects to mention is that he alone decided to imperil DACA by announcing he was ending it by March 5, which if course he did not do.
He instead has been using DACA as a Sword of Damocles over Democrats, warning he will end it if they don’t come to the table on his terms.
DACA is dead because the Democrats didn’t care or act, and now everyone wants to get onto the DACA bandwagon... No longer works. Must build Wall and secure our borders with proper Border legislation. Democrats want No Borders, hence drugs and crime!

Democrats have rightly refused to be rolled on the issue, pointing out very clearly that DACA was doing just fine until Trump placed it in peril. Polls show that over 80 percent of Americans believe that the DACA kids, many of whom were newborn or toddlers when they were brought to America, should be allowed stay.
That wish for them to stay is the generous vision of America that so many Americans share. Instead, we get a narrow, twisted, devious president who tries to bargain with young lives.

Imagine you are a child of DACA who grew up in this great country, never learned your parent's language but built a career and life for yourself here.
Now you are in deep danger of being snapped away by a president who sees you and all your fellow DACA recipients as an extendable piece of political theater.
Shame on you President Trump. The lack of a generous vision and the urge to demonize other countries and communities has come as a shocking revelation to the majority of Americans.

Trump is living proof that you can fool most of the people most of the time.
He was never a good businessman no matter the boastful rhetoric. He went broke or his companies went broke five times.
He ripped off students at Trump University, the make-believe college he made up. Indicative of the true Trump is the fact that teachers promised a photo op with Trump and got a cardboard cut out instead.
We have a cardboard cutout president too, except this guy just gets more confused and dangerous every day.

DACA is a perfect example of his inability to frame or make policy. Likewise with gun control where he first boasted about taking on the NRA, then ran for cover when they showed him how they made him president.
Then there are the tawdry women that “Spankie” hung out with. He is not the first nor will he be the last womanizer in the White House but it is truly incredible how his evangelical, holier than thou multitudes of followers continue to support him.
It seems the evangelicals are composed of a flock of Elmer Gantrys as much as their preachers who should bear the same name for their double standards and bitter hypocrisy.
We Americans can hang on until the November elections and see retribution for this Potemkin White House run by a fake leader with no clue about what he is doing.
The DACA kids, however, have no such opportunity. Their crisis is now and it looks certain to end badly.
If there is a shred of humanity in this man called Trump he will allow them to stay -- but we won’t be holding our breath.
