Is there something on your mind? An upcoming life decision? A tricky practical matter? Some family drama? A conundrum that’s been plaguing you? Everyone needs advice sometimes, and Irish auntie is here to help.
After years of listening to and advising my family, friends and of course the occasional strangers at cafés and pubs, I'm ready for your questions, IrishCentral readers.
They can be anything from moral dilemmas and matters of the heart to friendly debates that need settling or minor decisions, since we all know how vexing those can be. Ireland-related matters (maybe you have a trip coming up and you’re not sure what to do?) are also fair game.
Send your questions to [email protected] with the subject “Dear Irish Auntie” and I’ll do my best to answer them in this column. The identities of all who ask questions will remain anonymous, so don’t be worrying about that.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you, and until then I wish you the best with this lovely little Irish blessing:
May you have warm words on a cold evening,
A full moon on a dark night,
And the road downhill all the way to your door.
