New data from the European Commission shows that one in three Irish people have never been on the Internet.

Currently half of Ireland economic growth now depends on the Information and Communication Technology sector. However the European spending on this sector is less than half of United States levels.

The European Commission have said that every household will  have fast-speed broadband Internet by 2020.
