The Whisk(e)y World Tour at Hugh O’Neill’s in Malden continues on Monday, August 20 at 7 pm with six Scotch whiskeys in the lineup. The second stop on the tour promises to be a tasty and tantalizing sampling of a variety of Scotch styles. Even veteran Scotch drinkers will find a surprise or two, just as some dedicated Bourbon fans found some new favorites during the July tasting.
Dinner is served before the tasting, which includes a fun and entertaining intro to each sample. Each attendee receives a special whiskey passport in which to record their whiskey journeys. If you come to at least 2 tastings you’ll qualify for discounts for a future tasting and even a special dinner for 2 at O’Neill’s.
The tastings are presented by whiskey specialists, All About The Craic, Inc., and are open to the public. The fee at each tasting is $50 per person with dinner. Members of the Irish Whiskey Society of America will receive special discounts. Non-drinkers, non-whiskey drinkers and designated drivers are welcome with the reduced “Pioneer” fee.
You can pay online in advance or at the tasting but it’s important to reserve your spot online so that there is an accurate headcount for dinner. For more information and to book your whisk(e)y “itinerary” go to http://bookwhen.com/thecraic.
