Protestors have occupyed the headquarters of Anglo Irish Bank, the financial institution most identified with the Irish banking downfall.
The Irish government is being forced to repay some $40 billion from Irish taxpayers funds for Anglo irish losses which triggered the financial crisis in Ireland.
Irish police were at the scene and stated that there were about ten protestos all inside the building.
Members of a left wing Republican socialaist party called Eirigi were said to be behind the protest.
Anglo Irish Bank lost $18 billion euros last year. Their former Chairman Sean Fitzpatrick, pictured, has become the poster boy for the excesses of the past few years.
