The Irish Newspaper Collection on Findmypast continues to grow every week and in the past month alone, a further 970,502 new articles were added to the archive.
The latest additions include one brand new title - Dublin Shipping and Mercantile Gazette. The arrival of this newspaper brings over 3,700 fully searchable new articles from 1871 to the collection. It also means Findmypast’s list of Dublin newspapers grows again. There are now more than 15 titles from Ireland's capital city.
As well as the new additions, Findmypast have also supplemented 16 existing titles with new articles, giving you extra years to explore. Substantial updates have been made to Dublin Daily Express (553,739), Londonderry Sentinel (101,332) and Warder and Dublin Weekly Mail (76,414).

As of 27 January 2016, the full collection contains 110 titles from all over Ireland, covering over 240 years of the nation's history. That's a total of 14.3 million Irish newspapers articles for you to delve into. What's more, it’s being constantly updated, so if your family's local newspaper doesn't feature yet, be sure to check back regularly as it may soon.
