The penultimate awards night of the North American Irish Dancing Championships saw several new faces being crowned champs at the Disneyworld Resort as the contest entered into its final day.
Bridget Albrades of New York took home first prize in the Girls U8 category, while Farran Dougherty of New Jersey followed immediately after to capture the Girls U9 Bs.
Emily Marino of popular dancing school Rinca na Tiarna in New York, won the Girls U9 As directly afterwards.
Next up was the Girls U11As which Julia O’Rourke from the prestigious Petri school won, then Laoise Curtis from Irish dancing powerhouse Belfast won the Girls U11Bs.
Ellen Kennedy O’Connor from Sligo, Ireland (or ‘Eire’ as the event organisers prefer to call it) won the Girls U14As, then Ann Paigi Tuilli was crowned winner of the Girls U14Bs after a short interval.
The last result of the night were the Girls U16A age-group which was taken by Sinead Carson of Doherty dancing school in Belfast
