This October, The Genealogy Event, in New York City, invites those with a passion for genealogy and DNA to learn more and connect with opportunities at a series of panel discussions and lectures by experts in the field.
The Genealogy Event held both in Limerick, Ireland and in prior years in New York will return to New York this October 13. Presented by IrishCentral, with title sponsor Hennessy, this one-day event will offer an immersive learning and engagement experience.
Throughout the day guests will hear from specialists in the field of genealogy, history and DNA and will be invited to join in on the conversation by posing questions, sharing observations to create an equally informative and social exchange.
The day-long event will focus on various Irish and US genealogy resources available inclusive of Ellis Island Immigration Museum, New York Public Library and the Archives of the Archdiocese of New York City.

The program will conclude with a special heritage and history presentation by Maurice Hennessy, 8th generation descendant of the Hennessy family and cognac business. A light reception will follow.
