A hub between Albany and Buffalo during construction of the Eerie Canal, Syracuse became a popular place for Irish immigrants. Tipperary Hill is still home to many of their descendants. A signature of the neighborhood is the inverted traffic signal with the Irish green above the British red! Our kinda place!
