Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly would be forgiven for getting carried away after the fantastic start to the season that his team has had. The Fighting Irish have remained undefeated after four tough games and are one of the most improved teams in college football, but Kelly remains unfazed by this success.
Speaking at a press conference, Kelly stated that he used his sides’ off-week to get back into a ‘normal routine’ while also training heavily to repair errors made ‘both offensively and defensively’ against Michigan and get back into the ‘speed of the game.’
Kelly then moved on to talking about the upcoming game against Miami Hurricanes, who have only lost one game this season, where he remained quietly confident. He praised Miami for having an ‘up-tempo team’ with ‘2 outstanding backs and a quarterback who is playing better and better every week.’
He hinted though that they may have caught their last few opponents off guard and asserts that his Fighting Irish team will be ready.
