Days after packages containing bullets were sent to Celtic Manager Neil Lennon and Niall McGinn, a third package has been discovered by mail staff.
The third package also contained bullets and was destined for northern Irish international Paddy McCourt.
It was discovered by staff at a Royal Mail Sorting Office in the East end of Glasgow.
Police were immediately alerted and an investigation has begun. A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said, "We can confirm that we are currently investigation a suspicious package discovered at a Royal Mail sorting office in Cubie Street in Glasgow on Tuesday 11 January. Inquiries are ongoing."
The package was reportedly addressed to him at Celtic Park.
McCourt is a former Derry City player and has played for his country. McGinn is also a Northern Irish international while Neil Lennon is a former Northern Irish international that has received death threats in the past.
