The hype surrounding Katie Taylor’s Olympic dream goes on and on as notorious Irish music blogger Nialer9 released the news that female Dublin hip- hop artist Temper-Mental MissElayneous has written a rap song to mark the occasion.

The new tune “Step into the Ring” pays tribute to the Irish athlete and Olympic hopeful and also features the backing vocals of Louise McNamara of The Heathers and Eberhard who also had a hand in producing the track.

All proceeds from the song go to the Peter Mc Verry Trust and the tune is set to take off in Ireland and beyond in the coming weeks.
