Notre Dame has the second most lucrative college football team Forbes magazine has reported.
Notre Dame’s program is valued at $112 million thanks in large part to their exclusive network television contract. The Texas program, meanwhile, is valued at $129 million.
Notre Dame’s program produces $72 million in revenue and $47 in total profit according to Forbes.
Texas produced $96 million in revenues and $71 million in total profit.
Penn State, LSU and Michigan make up the rest of the top five. The Notre Dame evaluation comes despite the fact that the college has not won a national championship since the Lou Holtz era in 1988
