Robbie Keane has been awared the FAI Senior International Player of the Year Award.
At the 20th FAI International Football Awards, in RTE, Donnybrook he was honored among Ireland’s other top international football stars.
Not only did the Republic of Ireland captain win Senior International Player of the Year Award but his his goal against France in the FIFA World Cup play-off in November was voted the International Goal of the Year.
Other awards of not were the Young Player Award that went to Manchester United's Darron Gibson. Seamus Coleman captured the U21 Award as Lanre Oyebanjo was crowned the U19 Player of the year. Gary Twigg of Shamrock Rovers was named Airtricity League player of the year.
