Harry Potter's spell on Broadway has been surpassed by all singing, all dancing triple threat hunk actor Darren Criss. In his third and final week as the lead in the musical 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,' the beaming 'Glee' star has demonstrated he's a one of a kind box office draw.

Daniel Radcliffe’s run was no slouch either, leaving in a nine-show week that grossed $1.9 million, but Criss's sudden appearance in the leading role has coincided with the three most lucrative weeks of its 11-month run.

Over the last three weeks 'How to Succeed' took in more than $1.3 million per week, a figure at or near the production’s potential top gross.

Excited producers now see evidence that he'll be able to sustain a longer lucrative Broadway run if - and it's a big if - 'Glee's' producers allow him to skip their expected summer concert tour and return when 'Glee' is off the air. (Nick Jonas, one of the teen favorite Jonas brothers, is contracted to play the lead through July 1, leaving an opening for Criss’ return if he can schedule it).
