Two of John Travolta’s pet dogs have been killed in an accident at an airport in Maine.
A service vehicle at Bangor International Airport, Maine, stuck and killed the two dogs.
The dogs were being walked on a leash after getting off an aeroplane with some family members.
Bangor Airport is now investigating the incident.
Bangor city officials made a statement. They said “An airport service pickup truck was approaching the airplane to service the airplane and did not see the dogs.
Unfortunately, the dogs were struck and killed. The airport is investigating the accident. Out of respect for the family’s privacy the city will make no further comment.”
This is sure to come as another blow to the Travolta’s who have suffered great tragedy over the last year.
Travolta’s son, Jett, died last year from a seizure disorder while on holidays in the Bahamas.
Two people are due in court having blackmailed Travolto over the details of his death.
Last year the case was heard by judge but the case was declared a mistrial because of jury misconduct. Travolta has already given evidence on how he tried to save his son’s life.
Since his son’s death, Travolta has declined to make public appearances. However in January he flew his private jet to Haiti to help deliver aid after the devastating earthquake.
