If you are looking to power down for a few days then getting away from it all is actually closer to home than you might think.
Samsú, near Athboy, in County Meath, is a new, luxury off-grid getaway designed to help you get back to basics with no screens in sight.
The cabin is located an hour northwest of Dublin on the edge of a laurel forest and every last detail to help guests switch off from 'real life' has been considered.
On arrival, they are greeted with a special analogue kit that includes film cameras to capture memorable moments and nature walks as well as cassette players (remember them!).
Also included are sleep sprays and journals to help you switch off and get in touch with your feelings.
Most exciting is the phone lockbox to allow you to lock away life's little and big stresses at least for a few days and there's also no wifi to tempt you!
If anyone knows the importance of taking back some 'me time' it's Samsú founder and confessed tech addict and workaholic Rosanna Irwin.

She said: 'In today's fast-paced world, we are constantly bombarded with notifications, emails, and the pressure to be "always on," Samsú offers a refuge where people can rediscover the power of going analog and embrace the restorative benefits of nature.'
The cabins are designed around the concept of mindfulness but also sustainability and are powered by solar energy. They come with environmentally friendly amenities including organic Irish-made bath products and compostable toilets as well as locally roasted coffee.
Prices start from €195 per night including a king-size bed, luxury linens, and logs for the fire. See more at Samsu.ie.
