Is Ireland really the home of One Hundred Thousand Welcomes? Celebrate the beautiful Emerald Isle with us this World Tourism Day 2018.
For decades, Ireland has taken pride in the fact that we offer our visitors a “céad míle fáilte” (one hundred thousand welcomes) and it seems that plenty of others have noticed how we do our best to make sure everyone feel at home, wherever they may come from.
TripAdvisor recently came out with a list of countries ranked in terms of excellent service, with Ireland coming in at the number two spot for travelers. Travel+Leisure also pinned us as one of the friendliest places for tourists in the world and you’ll forgive us for thinking that World Tourism Day really is another holiday that the Irish can truly celebrate.
