This past Sunday the @Ireland Twitter account was abuzz with photos of Ireland as the question posed by the week-long curator, Sean Reid, “what’s your favorite spot in Ireland?” set the followers into a travel log frenzy.

From Blessington Lake, in Wicklow, to Schull, in West Cork the images posted on Twitter were stunning. As one of the followers - @colm_ryan - pointed out, “I think we all sometimes forget the beauty around our little island and need to step back and look from time to time.” How right he is.

The followers shared their spiritual homes, their stunning secret spots and the best locations to “blow away the cobwebs”. The results were amazing.
