Robert Pattinson narrates the new international trailer for the much anticipated “Water for Elephants”

"I had a new life all planned," he begins. "Then with the opening of a door, every plan I had vanished. No home. No family. Forcing myself not to look back."

In the upcoming film, which is due to hit movie theaters on April 22, the British actor plays Jacob Jankowski, a veterinary student who abandons his studies to join a circus called The Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. It is based on the novel of the same name by Sara Gruen.

Pattinson’s character falls in love with Marlena (Reese Witherspoon, a married women which causes several difficulties. The snapshot offers some steamy moments between Pattinson and his on-screen lover.

MTV’s Hollywood crush named the film as one of the top three movies of 2011.
