Irish 10-year-old Ciarán Duffy, affectionately dubbed mini Messi for his out-of-this-world soccer skills, was one of five talented soccer players chosen to star in McDonald's latest World Cup ad.
Ciarán pulls off some amazing trick shots, including landing a ball off a wall and into a basket on a moving elevator.
His father, Michael, told Joe.ie that Ciarán was selected for the ad after Skype interviews with a Hollywood-based production company. The entire thing was filmed in Rio, where the World Cup will kick off on June 12.
“It’s a nice thing to get for a young Irish kid. More news to follow soon!” he said.
