American actor Mark Wahlberg was in Ireland for a round of golf over the long bank holiday weekend and he was full of praise for Co Limerick's Adare Manor.
"Adare Manor, wow, JP you've got to be kidding me," Wahlberg said, giving a shoutout to Adare's owner JP McManus and billionaire Dermot Desmond.
"We’re here at Adare Manor," he said in the clip posted to his Instagram account. "Wow, JP, double D, you guys gotta be kidding me! Wow! Beautiful!"

The video clearly shows the wonderous Adare Manor in all its splendor in the background so we're not surprised at the actor's excitement.
The 47-year-old was clearly getting his practice in on the course ahead of the JP McManus Pro-Am, a charity event taking place in July 2020.
Walhberg will tee off alongside actor Hugh Grant and major golf winners such as Rory McIlroy, Padraig Harrington and Tiger Woods.

"A key part of the Pro-Am is the celebrity-amateur golfers who give up their time to support us and I’ve no doubt the spectators will be in for a treat when Mark and Hugh take to the fairways next year," McManus said of the event
"I thank them for their commitment and we’re looking forward to welcoming them, and many more players and spectators to Limerick next year."
