Aisling Bea, the Irish star of "This Way Up" and "Living With Yourself," has shared a hilarious “TripAdvisor review” of her pregnancy to announce the birth of her first child.
With the negatives outweighing the positives, Aisling, a native of Co Kildare, only gave her pregnancy a one-star review in the Instagram post she shared on Monday, August 26.
Among her pregnancy's negatives were “limited drinks menu,” “expensive,” and “not as described online or in pictures.”
“Towards the end of my stay, I was repeatedly kicked in the nuts,” she said.
She added: “UTIs, bleeding, depression, cramps, insomnia, nosebleeds, sinus blockage, migraines, vomiting, being randomly touched by people without asking, bones mushing, organs moving, skin stretching, being told that you’ll forget all the pain / that it’s a privilege / that it will all be ‘worth it’ in the end, heightened awareness of climate change & worst of all - boredom - all described as ‘normal’ and was repeatedly recommended ‘a nice bath’ as a fix to all of the above.”
However, there were a few positives for Aisling, including a “quite nice” bath and “lots of help with bags at end of stay.”
She also appreciated the nearby "kebab shop man" providing free extra chips and “quite a flirty wink.”
Sweetly, she added that she was given “a little gift at check out which is, admittedly, quite cute.” (The Irish star does not appear to have announced the name of her "little gift.")
Aisling went on to share “some pictures of the trip when I didn’t hate it/ looked like I didn’t hate it" in her post.

Aisling's birth announcement comes nearly three months since she announced her pregnancy on social media in a similarly hilarious fashion.
"Got pregnant so I could try & put something beside Paul Rudd’s face to make him look older," Aisling wrote in her June announcement. (She and Rudd starred together in the Netflix comedy-drama series "Living With Yourself.")
She shared photos - some of which featured her pregnant belly with a drawn-on smiley face - mostly taken at The Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, a fundraising event for Children's Mercy health organization. The event ultimately raised an impressive $4 million.
In it, she added: "And thanks to @jackoby.freeman [Jack Freeman] & @elsie [Elsie Hewitt] for doing full bump glam & to one of them in particular for getting me pregaroo in the first place."
In a cheeky nod to previous false pregnancy rumors, she concluded her lighthearted post: "Edit to save myself admin. Yes I am pregnant. This time it’s not a joke about bread."

Meanwhile, Aisling and her partner Jack Freeman - a composer, musician, and producer - have been together for nearly two years.
Last August, Freeman, who was previously a member of the Australian band Jagwar Ma and has been a member of the UK band Foals since 2020, shared his own sweet snap on Instagram marking the couple's first anniversary.
