Colin Farrell appears totally unrecognizable in the clip as he attempts to scramble to the top of the crime world in Gotham City as Oz Cobb.

The 48-year-old appears older, larger, and with significantly less hair in the video - a far cry from the Dublin native's usual heartthrob roles.

The eight-part DC show, based on the villainous "Batman" character, is set to premiere in September.

Colin has also been confirmed to return as the villain in the next "Batman" movie, according to director Matt Reeves, Deadline reported.

The show will follow the aftermath of events that occurred in the 2022 box office hit "The Batman," which starred "Twilight's" Robert Pattinson alongside Zoe Kravitz.

The trailer from Warner Bros Television and DC Studios was revealed at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend, with Farrell attending the panel discussion via a virtual call from Macau, China, where he is filming a new movie.

He told the audience that: "The lore of this world held such an attraction for me," calling The Penguin an "incredibly tasty" character to play.

Sky has acquired the Ireland and UK rights to "The Penguin" ahead of its premiere on September 19. The show will be available to watch on Sky Atlantic and Now TV in Ireland.
