Ryan Reynolds is here to save the Universe in 'Green Lantern' and now finally we can get a sneak peak with the newly released trailer.

Film release date: June 17th, 2011.

The studio released a final and greatly anticipated trailer for its big screen DC comic book adaptation of 'Green Lantern' a big budget, Computer Generated Image filled and action packed superhero movie.

Ryan Reynolds stars as Hal Jordan, a test pilot who is chosen by a mythical green ring to wield the mighty powers needed to save the universe from evil.

In a mysterious universe, where the Protectors of Peace and Justice, the Green Lantern Corps who are a brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, are challenged when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first ever human selected for a green ring and green lantern, Hal Jordan.

He is trained by the Green Lantern Corps, and learns of the rings true power and danger. His mentor Tomar-Re (voiced by Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush) tells him 'The ring turns thoughts into reality. Its limits are only what you can imagine.'

Hal, who is encouraged by his childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris, played by Blake Lively, has one thing no member of the Corps has, humanity. With his determination and willpower he may just master his new powers, defeat Parallax and quite possibly become the greatest Green Lantern of all.
