Eugene Levy took to the streets of Galway with daughter, Sarah, to soak up the St. Patrick’s Day atmosphere on the West Coast.

The actor, known for his roles in "American Pie" and "Schitt’s Creek", is thought to be filming the third season of his traveling TV show.

"I love it"

Speaking to Virgin Media News on Monday afternoon, the Canadian actor revealed he had been to Ireland before but "never the West Coast".

"I love it," he enthused.

"I love it. It’s beautiful, it’s rugged.

"There’s a warmth here. Every single person I’ve met has exuded this type of warmth that makes you want to come back real soon."

Filming

Social media users took to X in their excitement, with many noting the 78-year-old was in Galway as part of filming for his travel documentary, "The Reluctant Traveler".

The Apple TV+ show sees Eugene traveling the world and exploring the cultures on offer in the different countries.

Season one saw the actor visit the likes of Costa Rica, Japan and South Africa while in the second season, he did a trip of Europe.

"So unexpected"

Social media users took to X to share their sightings of the actor and his daughter with one noting it was ‘so unexpected that everyone first thought it was lookalikes.’

Others commented on the Virgin Media News clip with one saying: "Johnny Rose is in Ireland, I’m so excited about this."

Another added: "He’s here!!!! My fellow Canadian."

A third wrote: "Come back soon, Johnny Rose."
