Young Irish TikTok sensation Jacob Robinson is set to make his acting debut after joining the cast of the upcoming thriller "Drop," which is in production in Ireland. 

Robinson, the young Dublin lad who has more than 2.4 million followers on TikTok, is set to star alongside Violett Beane, Meghann Fahy, and Brandon Sklenar in the upcoming film.

Deadline reports that the logline for the "fast-paced thriller" is being kept under wraps.

"Drop" is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal, with Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller, and Cameron Fuller on board as producers. 

Christopher Landon, who has previously directed films such as the horror series "Happy Death Day" and a number of "Paranormal Activity" films, is on board as director,

In a recent post on X, Landon posted a photograph of a partially completed set and added that the set is going to be "bonkers" when completed.

The film is set to be Robinson's feature film debut.

Deadline said Robinson became an "overnight social media sensation" in 2022 thanks to his "endearing commentary and amusing ruminations."

The account, which is run by his parents, has garnered more than 2.4 million followers and over 63 million likes over the past two years. 

In the bio for the account, Robinson's mother Donna describes her son as an "old soul."
